My mission is to show you how to have it easier as an artist.
Hi, I’m Boris!
Even as a child, I felt the immense mental pressure that comes with competition. My father, a psychologist himself, wasn’t allowed to watch me play table tennis after I turned ten, I just couldn’t handle the pressure. Later, as a musician playing the clarinet and saxophone, I realized once again how much performance is shaped by the mind. I knew I could do better, but when it really mattered, I somehow couldn’t. Today the challenges for an artist are not only the performance itself by far more complex.
When I was asked to help young football players at the U19 Bundesliga to become professionals in Germany and my friends who work as known & successfull TV hosts, musicians and comedians in Germany it became clear to me: no one truly understood what was happening in those crucial mental moments. There were so many different terms and definitions, but they often didn’t provide real clarity. And just talking about it wasn’t always enough. I wanted to know, what exactly happens in the body in these moments? And more importantly, how can we make it easier?
This realization set me on a journey, one that ultimately became my mission. Today, I help artists, athletes, and performers develop the mental strength they need to confidently share their craft with the world, from pressure to anxiety, from enjoying the performance more, being less in your head to sleeping better on tour or when you don’t get the response you want. We can deal with that and it’s my mission to show you how!
Lead by curiosity
My job is to create a buffet of methods and techniques that spark your curiosity. There are many approaches, but not all of them are right for you or the situation at hand. What’s crucial is that we consider the body, because talking alone isn’t enough, it takes too long. The body stores experiences, tensions, and blockages that often represent the real obstacles. To create lasting change, we need to address these physical responses.
I see my role as showing you tools and techniques tailored to you, helping you make the changes that work for you, not for me. Being creative is a divine process, and how others perceive it is no longer in your control. But helping you navigate this process and break through mental barriers is my passion and my talent.
As artists, mental training is often overlooked, and it’s something we don’t get enough of. That’s what we’re here to fix, providing you with the mental tools you never received, to help you take your creativity to the next level.
Let’s go!
